Text	There has been a regular association formed, the officers of which have been elected as follows: President, George Cassidy; Vice President, Charles J. McAleese, Secretary, N. W. Stewart; Treasurer, Wm. S. Gittinger; Managers, Wm. Barnie and Alphonse T. Houck. Mr. Barnie will have active management of the club on the field. Mr. Barnie is manager of the Philadelphia club, and is well known for his success in the management of base ball clubs. He has already secured several players, among whom is Householder, the first baseman of the present Baltimore Club. Newington Park grounds have been leased to Messrs. Barnie & Houck for next season, and all details arranged. The improvements at the grounds for next season will consist of an entirely new fence, sixteen feet high, enclosing them. A grand stand, capable of accommodating 1,200 people, will be erected and all new shedding and seating accommodation will be erected. The directors of the new club are the same gentlemen mentioned as officers, with the addition of the two managers.
