Text | [Excelsior of Brooklyn vs. Union of Morrisania 7/15/1865] Leggett was in splendid play, and caught behind, close up to the bat, quite in his old effective and unequaled style, putting out no less than ten players on foul balls, two of them from fly tips, besides keeping down the score of passed balls to a couple only. |
