Text	The reorganization of this time-honored club [the Unions of Morrisania] with the promise that they will enter upon the campaign of 1870, fully prepared to cope with the strongest professional clubs of the country, is an event of more than ordinary interest, for it gives appearance that there will be at least one club in the professional arena from this State that will do their very best to win every game they play, without regard to the amount of bets pending any particular contest, or of the fact that a victory would be only obtained at the cost of the receipts at the gate of a third contest. We harp on this topic of the willful loss of match-games for the special objects referred to, from the fact that it is the one great evil of professional playing, which is the only barrier to the honorable career of that class of the fraternity.
