Text | The fraternity generally will be pleased to learn that the Atlantic and Athletic clubs have shaken hands for 1868, this even being consummated when the Atlantics accepted the challenge of the Athletics, which they did on the 14th inst. The Atlantics have done themselves credity by this act, and we trust the old era of good feeling between the two clubs which prevailed during the Fitzgerald regime will be restored. |
