Text	Frank Larkin is said to be perfectly sobered up, in good condition, and anxious to play ball once more, that being his only means of livelihood. Six months ago he was at his own request committed to the Inebriates' Home at Fort Hamilton. During that entire six months he hasn't touched a drop of liquor, and it is thought that he has now entirely conquered his weakness. He has still many friends in Brooklyn who would like to see him get a position with a minor league club, in order that he may show the professional that he has redeemed himself. Larkin is a splendid player when in good condition.
