Text | The Internal Revenue Department has decided that Base Ball Clubs are subject to taxation, and accordingly they will in future be compelled to take out licenses at the rate of $10 per annum for their exhibitions, and pay a tax of 2½ per cent on their gross receipts, while the Treasurers of Clubs will be required to make monthly income returns. |
