Text | [quoting Nick Young] One of the questions asked me last week was if a pitcher hit a man with a ball should be given an error for it in the regular error column. My answer was yes; and further, that it did not count a base hit, or a time at the bat. However, if it should be the fifth ball called, then the batter would be credited with a base hit and no error would be charged against the pitcher. |
