Text	A noteworthy occurrence of the past week was the introduction of pool-selling, as at turf-races, on the Union Grounds. Mr. Cammeyer says that the betting crowd has become such an annoyance that he thought he could not do better than introduce pool-selling, which places the betting in responsible hands and puts a stop to the quarreling incident to the ordinary plan of betting.
