Text | There must be a peculiarity about the water in the reporters' box on the Philadelphia ground, as it creates in some of the boys the habit of seeing double in sizing up a crowd. The best way to get at the actual attendance on the Philadelphia ground is to divide the number given by the Press and Record by two and then you will have it. “I tell them they are over-estimating the attendance every day,” said Colonel Rogers yesterday, “but I see they keep at it.
