Text | [Eckford vs. Empire 8/26/1859] There was considerable murmuring in the “crowd” at one of [the umpire’s] decisions, but Mr. Miller [of the Empires] very properly put an end to in, in a brief but pithy speech. After this, good order was maintained. |
