Text | [reporting the AA meeting of 3/7-8] the umpires were instructed that the pitching rule, requiring the pitcher to face the batsman, meant that both the face and body of the pitcher should face the batsman, that the body should be erect and that both shoulders should be equally distant from the centre from the home plate. |
