Text | The first section of the fifth rule has been amended so as to provide that two clubs in the case of a tie score, at the close of the ninth inning, may mutually agree to call the game drawn; before, the play had to be continued until one side had a majority of runs, and neither club had the option of declaring the game drawn. |
