Text | As usual, those eccentric Boston base ball reporters have determined to score in their regulation go-as-you-please fashion, and have agreed to substitute the total base column for the stolen base column, to put the stolen bases in the summary, to reject bases on balls as factors in scoring earned runs, and to put the “unaccepted” chance on the shelf. As least that is what the Boston Herald says. The Globe, however, contradicts it. |
