The indomitable skaters of the Union Club have started a new idea and it is in this wise: They propose to organize “the Union Skating, Riding School, Base Ball, Gymnastic and Boating Association,” under a charter to be applied for at the present session of the Legislature. They estimate the cost of the enterprise at $60,000—that is as to the construction account, the annual expenses at $9,000. They estimate the annual receipts at $22,000. The projectors intend that under the organization contemplated, each shareholder will every five years receive in dividends the entire amount of their capital stock.
