Text	[Indianapolis vs. Cincinnati 10/11/1877] Mitchell [left handed pitcher Bobby Mitchell] had Miller behind the bat again, and developed some of his old-time strength. The Hoosiers got but four base hits off his delivery, and ten men struck out. The sixth and eighth innings each ended by three men striking out in succession, something that has never occurred before in the history of base-ball. Under Miller's guidance and advice Mitchell changed his delivery, standing with his right side toward the home-plate, instead of facing it, as heretofore. The change seems to be a good one. He thereby gains greatly in speed and also in effect.
