Text | [from an interview of Stern] “Well, Cincinnati is a fifty-cent city and would, no doubt, make out well in the League. While we charged fifty cents last year we made more money than we ever made at twenty-five cents. Since our Sunday games were stopped we lost $15,000, which we would have made up during the week days at fifty cents, had we been in the League. |
