Text | The Davenport Club of Davenport, Ia., it is said, disbanded after playing the Detroits on June 27, their treasurer going away with the receipts, and leaving the Detroits minus their guaranty of $250 for three games. The latter nine were thereby detained two or three days at Davenport, being without money and unable to get home. |
