Text | The pleasant weather of the past week has enabled the workmen to commence operations in fitting up the Athletic Ground for the season of 1870. A high board fence will be built on Columbia avenue to the lane at the eastern section of the ground, and thence along the late to Montgomery avenue, thus effectually cutting off the view of the multitudes who were accustomed to assemble outside the ground. |
