Text | George W. Smith, the veteran ballet-master at Fox’s American Theatre, is also a veteran ball player, having served his apprenticeship with the old New York Club, an organization that used to make their headquarters at the Elysian Fields, Hoboken, a quarter of a century ago. George, although, of course, no so active as he then was, can still display a skill far surpassing that of many of the more youthful members of the fraternity. |
