Text | The Mutuals appointed July 2 to play their third game with the Resolute Club at Waverley. The New Yorkers met at the train to go; but finding themselves short two or three of their players, they chose rather to forfeit the game than go, and so they went over to the Union Grounds to see the Washingtons and Atlantics play instead. This gives the Resolutes a game by 9 to 0. |
