Text	By next Saturday, when the Clevelands will open the professional season in Cincinnati, the old-time banner system at Fourth and Vine street will be revived, to give notice at noon of every day whether a game will be played. This year the medium will be a twenty-foot flag, run out on a cable across Vine street, from over Hawleys to the telegraph building. On the banner will be the letters, “Base Ball Park–Game To-day at 3 P.M.” Anybody down town can then satisfy himself at the noon hour whether or not a game is to be played. Whenever rain interferes during the forenoon so as to postpone a game, the banner will not be there. This system will be commenced next Saturday. The club will try to arrange several other information stations in different parts of this city and Covington, where information on doubtful days can be obtained at the noon hour.
