Text | [Olympic of Baltimore vs. Baltimore 8/17/1872] Fisher pitched for the Baltimores, and it was found that so long as he kept up his speed it was almost impossible to bat him, but when it became necessary to slacken his delivery in order to save the catcher the Olympics batted him effectively. |
