Text | We hope to see the Convention dispose of the vexed question of pitching and throwing in baseball, by allowing every style of delivery that is not a decided overhand-throw or a jerk to be considered a pitch. Half the pitching now-a-days is an underhand throw, and as it is difficult to distinguish the difference in most cases, this allowing everything delivered underhand to be a pitch would get rid of the trouble we now have. |
