Text | The Cincinnati Times -Star wonders why the New York World has no love for Buck Ewing. Ask George Dickinson. The latter last June was on to the beginning of the scheme which finally led to the consolidation trap, but was prevailed upon to let up on Ewing although he accused the latter to his face of being a traitor to the Players' League. Dickinson now regrets keenly he did not then publish all the facts in his possession. Had he done so, instead of listening to the pleadings of Talcott, et al., things might have turned out different. |
