Text | A false impression has been created by the statement that suits have been entered against the shareholders of the Tecumseh Club at London, Canada. The suits referred to are being brought by the directors of the club against shareholders who have failed to pay up the amount of their shares. There have been no suits brought against the club. In fact, the Tecumsehs honorably met all claims, and it is only justice to a club that was always noted for its prompt payment of players and honorable dealing with other clubs to correct the impression that they are defaulters in any way to their players or the public, or that they have left themselves liable to suits at law for the payment of debts. |
