Text	The grading and turfing of the new field of the Athletic Club of Philadelphia was commenced last week at Twenty-fifth and Jefferson streets. A substantial board fence, ten feet high, is to be erected, and other improvements made, so that the ground shall be the finest in the country. The pavilions now on the old ground will be placed on the left of the catcher’s position, and additional seats will be provided and so arranged that every spectator can have a perfect and unobstructed view of a game. The reporters’ stand will be placed directly back of the catcher, and will be elevated sufficiently to be out of the reach of stray foul balls that may chance that way. ... Those gentlemen holding seats last year in the reserved seat pavilion, Athletic ground, can have the same renewed in the new pavilion on the ground at Twenty-fifth and Jefferson streets, if they make application before the 5th of April, to Al. Reach, No. 6 South Eighth street. After that date all seats will be disposed of to the first comers.
