Peverelly [page 112] reports that the National Club of Washington DC played the Maryland Club of Baltimore on 10/26/1861, losing 17-10. The New York Clipper, June 23, 1866 reports that the Maryland defeated the Pastime 47-34 for the championship of Maryland. |
