Description	The Baltimore Sun, Feb. 21, 1867, has an article on the MD state baseball convention and lists the clubs sending delegates. Among these was the Annapolis and Severn Clubs of Annapolis. The Washington (DC) National Republican May 17, 1867 reports that the Jefferson club of DC has challenged the Severn of Annapolis. Annapolis had 5,744 residents in 1870.
