The Champion Club of Albany is listed as an NABBP member in 1860. M. Wright, The NABBP, page 53. The Champion Club played by NY rules, and in fact scheduled a game using the fly game in September 1859. Pittsfield Sun, Oct. 6, 1870 reports on the reunion of the Pittsfield BBC, which it says formed in 1858. |
