Data | “Base-ball” was among the games played at the annual treat of the Congregational Church Sunday School of Little Ilford, Essex: “Upwards of 100 children were regaled with a substantial tea. During the afternoon and evening a variety of amusing games were indulged in, including cricket, base-ball, swinging croquet, football, &c.” |
