Data | “Baseball” was played at the first annual outing of the “Newhaven Fort” Lodge of Good Templars of Newhaven, East Sussex, that was held in the small milling village of Barcombe Mills. A newspaper reported that: “arriving at their destination, cricket, baseball and other games were indulged in.” |
