Data | “Base” was listed as one of the games enjoyed by children and teachers attending the Independent Sunday School Festival of Soham, a small town in eastern Cambridgeshire. A newspaper reported that “French tag, base, jolly miller, and other games were freely indulged in, and all present appeared heartily to enjoy the amusements.” |
