Data | “Baseball” was identified in a brief newspaper report as one of the amusements enjoyed by children of the Congregational Sunday School of Chalfont St. Giles, a village in the Chiltern district of southeastern Buckinghamshire, at their end of summer treat. The paper said that “games, consisting of cricket, baseball, etc. were most heartily enjoyed.” |
