| Data | “Base-ball” was one of the entertainments for students attending the Congregational Sunday School of Burnham, Buckinghamshire, at their annual treat. According to a newspaper report, after traveling to a park, “cake was distributed amongst the children, who then made off for play. All kinds of diversion could be indulged in. Some played cricket, others base-ball, etc.” |
