| Data | “Base-ball” was a featured game at the annual treat held for children attending the Wesleyan Sunday School of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. A newspaper reported that as soon as the children arrived at a local park, “they commenced playing at cricket, foot and base-ball, &c., and the usual games resorted to on such occasions.” |
