Data | “Base-ball” was played at the annual tea meeting of the members, friends, and children of the Union Chapel of High Wycombe, a large town in Buckinghamshire. A newspaper reported that “upwards of 200 sat down to tea; after which amusements of cricket, foot and base-ball, &c. were indulged in.” |
