Data | A newspaper reported that "Base ball" was played at a festival of the South Bucks Friendly Society in High Wycombe: "They there spent the remaining part of the day in the greatest good humour, order, and decorum, some at cricketing, others at trap and bat, base ball, four corners, &c." |
