| Data | A newspaper reported that “baseball” was one of the games enjoyed at the annual treat of the St. Paul's Church Sunday School of West Wycombe, Buckinghamshire: “A short service was held at St. Paul's, and on leaving the church various games—cricket, baseball, &c.--were indulged in till the drum called the children to tea.” |
