Description | Base Ball Vigilant (of Brooklyn ) vs Good Intent (of New Utrecht ) - The Second nine of these two clubs played their home and home game on the grounds of the Wyandank B. B. Club, Coney Island, yesterday, which resulted in a decided victory for the Vigilants. The playing of Morrell, Van Pelt and one or two others of The Vigilants were very good. On the side of the Good Intents, Morris as pitcher, Stephens as catcher, and P. Snediker, left field, played capital, the latter making some spledid catches on the fly. But five innings was played, the game being called by the captain of the Good Intents, owing to the indisposition on his part, or probably to save themselves from being badly beaten The following is the score. Vigilant -18 Good Intent - 10
