Vigilant (of Brooklyn ) vs Good Intent (of

New Utrecht ) - The Second nine of these two clubs

played their home and home game on the grounds of the

Wyandank B. B. Club, Coney Island, yesterday, which

resulted in a decided victory for the Vigilants. The

playing of Morrell, Van Pelt and one or two others of

The Vigilants were very good. On the side of the Good

Intents, Morris as pitcher, Stephens as catcher, and P.

Snediker, left field, played capital, the latter making

some spledid catches on the fly. But five innings was

played, the game being called by the captain of the

Good Intents, owing to the indisposition on his part,

or probably to save themselves from being badly beaten
