| Data | “Base-ball” was enjoyed by 40 to 50 youngsters attending the annual summer outing of the Chiltern House School of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. A newspaper account reported that “after tea, various sports were indulged in, such as racing, jumping, base-ball, etc.” |
