Data | “Baseball” was one of the activities enjoyed by adults attending the annual Baptist School Festival in Gamlingay, a village in south Cambridgeshire. A newspaper reported that after the children separated for races and sweets, “the friends amused themselves with the round tag, baseball, Captain and round games, and had a lively and busy time of it keeping up the fun till the field was cleared at 10 p.m.” |
