A match game of base ball was played at Otterville on Saturday last between the Resolute club of Syracuse, and Shoo Fly club of Otterville, resulting in favor of the Shoo Fly club, the score being 123 to 57. Although the score indicates a balance in favor of the Shoo Fly club, yet they did not play as good a game as is their wont. Everything passed off pleasantly and was free from the wrangling which characterizes the playing of some other clubs we have heard of. The Otterville boys are eager for the fray and if the Sedalia or Georgetown club should throw down the glove, they certainly would be accomodated by the Shoo Fly.
