The Baseball Research Journal, Spring 2013, in an article on early Black Baseball championships, notes the Bachelors of Albany, who defeated the Pythians of Philadelphia. 

The Albany Evening Journal, Sept. 27, 1866 notes the Bachelor BBC going to Philadelphia to play some ball games there.

The Daily Albany Argus, Oct. 9, 1867 notes a game on the parade ground the day before between two "colored" teams, the National Excelsiors of Philadelphia and the Bachelors of Albany, won 57-23 by the visitors.
