Description

The "Spencer Ball Club" lately challenged the "Young America" of Spencer, which consists of thirteen boys, whose ages range from fourteen to eighteen years- to a match game. The game way played Wednesday afternoon at Spencer, and lasted two hours. Spencer club got nineteen tallies, and Young America twenty, whereupon Young America named them the Go-Slow Club, which they accepted, and went quietly to bed.
