Location Concord, NH, United States
Description The Sept. 27, 1866 Kearsarge game was played on "a beautiful field, on the Intervale, a third of a mile south of the Free Bridge Road--the camp ground of one of the early formed regiments that went into the war."

The intervale was the alluvial plain east of the Merrimack River. This description fits "Camp Berry," the camp ground of the 3rd New Hampshire Infantry.. The 1893 history of the 3rd NH has a map showing where the camp was--on the east side of the river, about opposite where the railroad crossed Main Street. See the Union Leader, June 18, 2018.

Just looking at the map, the camp would be approximately modern Terrill Park.
