Description | The Barrington Review, June 13, 1891 reports that the new Hermosa club is to be called the Hermosa Stars Base Ball Club. Same July 4, 1891 has the Hemosa Stars playing the Almira Club on the 4th. Hermosa was founded in 1882, and annexed by Chicago in 1889. Almira/Pacific Junction is/was an area in Chicago just southeast of Hermosa. |
