Description	The St. Louis Globe Democrat, June 21, 1877: "A very interesting game was played at Shawneetown Agency, Ill., on the 16th, between the Shawnees and Riversides, two nines of that city." The Shawnees won, 16-13. The Evansville Journal, Sept. 21, 1867 reports that a game to be played at Shawneetown between the Evansville and Paducah clubs, was postponed. Shawneetown in Gallatin County is one of the oldest towns in Illinois.
