Description | The Cincinnati Reds in October 1869 played the Omaha Clippers at the Omaha Trotting Park, winning 65-1 in 7 innings. See Chicago Tribune, Oct. 12, 1869. The Omaha Herald, July 2, 1868 reports a game at the "Omaha Driving Park," presumably the same venue. The Trotting Park (aka Driving Park) lasted 1860-1905. It was bounded by N. 16th, N. 18th and Sprague. |
