Description	The Warsaw Bulletin, Oct. 25, 1867 reports that the Mutuals of this city are to play the Athlete of Keokuk. Same Aug. 9, 1867 says the club of this city shall play the Gate City of Keokuk. "Then, late in the season of 1867, three ball clubs were organized at Keokuk; the "Pioneers," the "Gate Citys," and the "Athletics." " On August 14 the "Gate Citys" beat the "Warsaw, Illinois, Mutuals 49 to 46, only to have the Illinois team come back a week later and defeat them, 60 to 55." Annals of Iowa (1941). p. 633. The Quincy Whig, Aug. 20, 1868, says the Occidental Junior BBC of this city will play the Mutuals of Warsaw Aug. 21st. The Mutuals jrs. played the same club the next year. The Warsaw Bulletin, Aug. 20, 1869. Query whether there was both a "senior" and "junior" Mutuals Club.
